How we work

The way we build a food-contact mould.

The process, the paperwork, the person you'll speak to. What working with TCI Culinary actually looks like from enquiry to reorder.

Our people

The people behind every TCI mould.

The same small team works across all five TCI brands, so the person who quotes your job is never far from the person who builds it.

How we work

One engineer runs your job.

One job folder and sample tray on an engineer’s desk

TCI Culinary is a small, specialist division. Every enquiry gets a human reply the same working day. Every job is run by one engineer with a name, a phone number and a diary. Every mould leaves with paperwork that says what it's made of.

From enquiry to reorder

The stages of a job.

01

Enquiry

You send a photo, a sketch or a sample. We reply the same working day with clarifying questions, or with an initial quote if the brief is clear.

02

Design conversation

For custom work, we'll set up a call with the chef, the pastry lead or the production manager — whoever will actually use the mould.

03

Proof cavity

For bespoke or high-detail work, we build a single proof cavity for sign-off before scaling to a tray.

04

Manufacture and paperwork

Full tooling or tray is built. Supplier declaration, grade record and cavity check are issued with the delivery.

05

Delivery and support

Delivered by courier. We're on the phone through commissioning if any adjustment is needed.

06

Reorder

Drawings and grades on file. Reorder is a phone call, not a fresh spec conversation.

The six commitments

What comes with every order, from one mould upwards.

01

A response the same working day

Every enquiry gets a human reply the same day it lands.

02

Tooling and unit cost, itemised

Two lines on the quote — the build cost and the per-part cost.

03

Written material spec, every job

The mould leaves with a document that says what it's made of.

04

UK design, UK moulding capability

Design and development in Warwickshire, manufacture in the UK.

05

A single point of contact

One engineer runs your job — name, phone, diary.

06

No minimum for the first tool

A single hand-made mould is a real order.

Where we're based
