Snap-line profile
Depth and angle set for a clean break.
Chocolate bar moulds · snap tablet moulds
The snap is part of the eating. Snap-line depth and profile decide whether a tablet breaks cleanly into squares.
Overview

A tablet that shatters instead of snapping looks cheap. The snap line has to be deep enough to guide the break and shallow enough to keep the tablet strong.
We design segment patterns and snap-line profiles and proof them on a single cavity.
What we design for
Depth and angle set for a clean break.
Your own pattern, not a stock grid.
Tablets that do not snap on knock-out.
Tested on one cavity before the full tray.
What we ask up front
Tell us the net weight on the wrapper. We set cavity volume from it and your chocolate's density.
How many pieces, and how clean the break needs to be. That drives snap-line depth and profile.
Bench tap, flex-and-push or invert. We match silicone hardness to it.
Send the vector file early. We check the finest feature will read on a tempered bar.
